The Globetech Portal
The Globetech® Portal is an inhouse developed tool to make onboard ICT operations even more efficient and further increase the cooperation between Globetech and our clients.
The Globetech® Portal underwent pilot testing and adjustments during the fall of 2019. Final modifications are completed, and the Globetech® Portal Essential is now being implemented onboard all vessels managed by Globetech.
The Portal currently consists of 3 modules:

The Globetech® Portal Essential is released and free of charge for all Globetech clients. The Globetech® Portal Change and The Globetech® Portal Remote was made available for our clients in Q1 of 2020.

The Globetech Portal Remote
Provides remote access control for subcontractors, thereby giving the captain onboard the opportunity to access and control remote accesses for subcontractors. This includes status views of open/closed access points. The security aspects of this portal module is central with regards to cyber security risk management, and gives the shipowner increased control and insights.
