Another prominent offshore shipowner is added to a growing list of Globetech clients as a new contract with K Line Offshore was completed last week.
K Line Offshore is an offshore support vessel provider for the global oil and gas industry, with high-end Platform Support Vessels (PSV) and two of the world’s most powerful Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS).
K Line Offshore AS is operated from Arendal, Norway and is a 100% owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. (K Line), which is one of the largest shipping companies in the world. Technical management and crewing of the K Line Offshore fleet is handled by OSM Maritime Group, also a client of Globetech.
The K Line Offshore vessels are designed with high-end specifications in order to operate in the most challenging and harsh environments world-wide. Throughout 2020 all vessels will be installed with generation 8 Globetech ® VesselNet and the fleet will be included in the Globetech services and support system.
