The installation of VesselNet Gen. 8 onboard KL Barentsfjord was completed in the beginning of May.
This is the second VesselNet installation of the K Line Offshore fleet, and throughout 2020 all vessels will be installed with generation 8 Globetech ® VesselNet. The fleet will be included in the Globetech portfolio and we will provide 24/7 operational support in addition to services for future IT needs.
The KL Barentsfjord is a Plattform Supply Vessel (PSV), and was built for K Line Offshore fleet in 2011 and has mainly been working on a long term contract in the North Sea.
